2. Our Return Philosophy: No “Refund Only” Policy

We stand firmly by the quality of our curated bathroom essentials—from soft bath linens and sleek organizers to stylish accents. To maintain fairness, ensure inventory accuracy, prevent fraud, and uphold our commitment to sustainability by responsibly managing our products, ‌we strictly do not process refunds without receiving the returned item.‌ A refund will only be issued after the returned product has been received and inspected at our warehouse. Requests for a refund without a return will not be granted.


3. Eligibility Criteria for Returns & Refunds

To be eligible for a return and subsequent refund, your item must meet all the following conditions:

  • Timeframe:‌ You must initiate a return request within ‌30 calendar days‌ from the date you received the item(s). Returns requested after this period will not be accepted.
  • Condition:‌ The item must be ‌unused, in its original condition‌, and in the original, undamaged packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories intact.
  • Proof of Purchase:‌ You must provide your order number or proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email).
  • Non-Returnable Items:‌ For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are ‌FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or refunded‌:
    • Opened or used personal care items (e.g., soaps, loofahs).
    • Custom-made or personalized products.
    • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance” on the product page.
  • Damage or Defects:‌ Items that are damaged upon arrival or defective are covered under our policy (see Section 5). You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

4. Step-by-Step Return Process

To return an item and qualify for a refund, please follow these steps precisely:

Step 1: Request Authorization

Provide your order number and the reason for the return. ‌Do not ship the item back without receiving a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.‌ Unauthorized returns will be refused at the warehouse.

Step 2: Receive Instructions & RMA Number
We will review your request and, if eligible, email you an RMA number and detailed return instructions, including our warehouse return address. ‌Please note: The return address may differ from our company mailing address in Jaux, France.

Step 3: Pack and Ship the Item

  • Securely repackage the item in its original packaging.
  • Include all original contents, manuals, and accessories.
  • Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the shipping box.
  • Ship the package using a traceable and insured carrier (e.g., Colissimo, Chronopost, UPS). We recommend retaining the shipping receipt.

Step 4: Refund Initiation
Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse (typically within 5-10 business days of arrival), we will notify you via email regarding the status.

  • If Approved:‌ Your refund will be processed to the original method of payment. Please allow 5-10 additional business days for the refund to post to your account.
  • If Denied:‌ If the item does not meet our eligibility criteria (e.g., used, damaged by customer, missing parts), we will email you an explanation. The item may be shipped back to you at your cost, or you may choose to have it disposed of.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We take great care in preparing your orders. However, if you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged during shipping,
  • Defective (faulty craftsmanship/material),‌ or
  • Incorrect (not what you ordered),

please contact us ‌within 48 hours‌ of delivery at specarian@bellesalledebain.com. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs/video evidence. We will arrange for a prepaid return label and, upon receipt and verification, expedite a replacement or a full refund. ‌This is the only exception where a refund might be considered before we receive the return, but a return is still ultimately required for defective/incorrect items.


6. Refund Details

  • Refund Method:‌ All refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to an alternative payment method or person.
  • Deductions:‌ The refund will be for the purchase price of the item(s) returned. ‌Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable‌, unless the return is due to our error (damaged/defective/incorrect item).
  • Return Shipping Costs:‌ Unless the return is due to our error, ‌the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.‌ These costs are non-refundable. We are not liable for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit, which is why we insist on using a traceable service.

7. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To replace an item, please follow the standard return process to receive a refund. Once your return is processed, you may place a new order for the desired item on our website. This ensures you receive the most current pricing and availability.


8. EU Right of Withdrawal & Our Policy

As a company based in France and serving customers in the European Union, we acknowledge your statutory ‌14-day right of withdrawal‌ under EU consumer law, starting the day you receive the goods. Our 30-day return window is more generous than this legal minimum. However, ‌the exercise of this right of withdrawal is still subject to the core condition of this policy: you must return the goods to us.‌ The legal right does not entitle you to a refund without a return.


9. Non-Returnable Situations
